KJSMS is owned and managed by Karen Jacques a successful, focused, highly motivated individual with a wealth of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Organised, forward thinking Karen is always striving for new successes and goals for herself and her clients.  

Karen is a natural team leader with a motivational approach that has driven teams to deliver business objectives for new and established hospitality and tourism businesses. Karen’s approach is honest and targeted resulting in business growth.

Karen has a trusted portfolio of clients with whom she works very closely, tailoring actions and strategies to suit the needs of their businesses.

Karen undertook the Napier University Executive Certificate for Tourism Professionals, Destination Leaders Programme recently. This course gave great insight into branding, marketing, leadership, customer journey, destination development, sustainable tourism, collaboration and influencing. Karen is now an member of the DLP Alumni and wider network.

Karen is an active member of the Board of Women in  Tourism. Founded in 2015 by a small group of destination leaders who are passionate about the scottish tourism industry the aim of Women in Tourism is to inspire, motivate, encourage and support women across the sector. Karen leads on the events side of this growing organisation.
